3M Scotchcast™ 600-Gms Re-enterable electrical insulating resin in amber/transparent color includes a soft, two-part polybutadiene resin encapsulates designed for reenter able splice protection. Electrical insulating resin is used as an insulating material for cable splices operating at 1000 Volts or less and is rated for continuous use at 90 deg C with an overload rating of 130 deg C. It is formulated with an superior wetting properties and low viscosity. Electrical insulating resin is ideal for sealing, electrical insulation, mechanical protection and low voltage applications. It comes with closed mixing pouch of 21.2 oz for easy mixing and pouring.
Electrical insulating resin is designed for bonding itself and to most cable jackets. It offers superior multi-purpose moisture sealing. Electrical insulating resin can be used in 78-R kits.
