3M™ plasticizer-resistant hook fastener SJ3522 is one part of a two part fastener solution designed to provide great durability for thousands of closures. With its Plasticizer-Resistant, acrylic based pressure sensitive adhesive backing, this fastener allows for easy and convenient attachment to a variety of substrates, especially flexible vinyl. Delivers durability 3M™ plasticizer-resistant hook fastener SJ3522 is our better performance acrylic based hook fastener with a 3.5 mil (0.08 mm) polyolefin film liner. It is an attachment alternative to a wide variety of closures, including zippers, screws, snaps, hooks and more. This fastener is covered with flexible J-shaped Hooks, about 300 hooks per sq-in, which protrude up from a woven backing. commonly paired with 3M™ plasticizer-resistant loop fastener SJ3523 this hook fastener can also engage with other 3M™ loop Fasteners. To ensure stability and flatness, both the hook and the corresponding loop are preshrunk. The backing of 3M™ plasticizer-resistant hook fastener SJ3522 is coated with a plasticizer-resistant acrylic based pressure sensitive adhesive. This adhesive strength builds up over time allowing for some repositionability before achieving full bond strength. The adhesive is designed specifically for use with flexible vinyl's and will resist many plasticizers.
