The SCOTCHFIL is a Scotchfil™ Electrical Insulation Putty can be wrapped, stretched or molded around irregular shapes for quick, smooth insulation build-up. Use 3M™ Scotchfil™ putty to insulate connections up to 600 volts and to round out high-voltage connections to gear, smooth bus bar irregularities and make a moisture seal at ground wire exits in high-voltage splices. UL recognized component listing for 176°F (80°C) when used in combination with Scotch® Super 33+™ or Scotch® professional grade vinyl electrical tapes super 88. It is suitable for to round out high voltage connections, smooth bus bar irregularities, create a resin dam in resin pressure splices, create a moisture seal at ground wire exit in high voltage splices and moisture seal multi-conductor cable connections.

  • 3M™ Scotchfil™ Electrical Insulation Putty comes in a tape form that is used to insulate irregular surfaces like fittings and valves. This self-fusing, electrical-grade tape can be stretched or wrapped and helps to insulate connections up to 600V. It withstands a wide temperature range of 32 to 176 degrees F (0 to 80 degrees C).
  • 3M™ Scotchfil™ Electrical Insulation Putty is a 125-mil thick, non-corrosive, mastic adhesive that offers optimized adherence. This tape-shaped putty has outstanding aging properties and is ideal for creating a resin dam at resin pressure joints. It helps to seal multi-conductor cable connections, as well as wire exits at high-voltage joints. RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
