Ocal GUAL Conduit outlet box in dark gray color has a hub size of 1 Inch and is made of grade 60/45/10 PVC coated, zinc plated, ductile iron for enhanced durability. It offers capacity of up to 13.4 cubic inches. It is designed for GUA series conduit boxes installed in hazardous locations to safeguard conductors, to work as a pull/splice box, to provide access to conductors for maintenance and future system changes/mounting outlets for fixtures with proper covers, to change direction in rigid conduit systems as well as to join two or more pieces of conduit long runs.
Outlet box features explosion-proof, dust-ignition proof and rain-tight construction for use in class I/II/III environments. It features 0.002-Inch nominal blue urethane coating on both inner and outer sides. It has rugged die-cast aluminum cover with a 3.000-Inch cover opening diameter. Outlet box has integral bushing and pressure-sealing sleeves. It is provided with an internal grounding screw and a O-ring gasket. Outlet box is UL listed and CSA certified.
