The Alpha Wireless 3300 – 3800 MHz AW3161-M-F is a high-performance 4-port, 65 degree single band sector panel with manual electrical tilt (MET) adjustment. MET enables the electrical tilt to be adjusted by a tilt screw located on the connector plate without the need to adjust the mounting brackets. The ease and accuracy of MET enables rapid network optimization, which reduces time on the tower and overall deployment costs. Whereas mechanical tilt with brackets has limited capability to reduce interference (i.e., pattern blooming), MET allows full control of the radiation pattern and prevents signal creep into all neighbor cells. This enables frequency-reuse between cells and reduces the number of cells needed to serve an area.
The Alpha Wireless AW3161-M-F provides ±45 degree slant polarization and supports 4×4 MIMO. This sector antenna has over 20 dB of upper side lobe suppression and 30 dB front-to-back ratio, which eliminates interference in LTE networks and boosts CINR. It is a highly effective tool in filtering out noise and interference to improve cell edge performance and enable high levels of spectral efficiency. This antenna’s consistent beamwidth and null filling below the main beam provides consistent coverage near-to and far from the access point. The AW3161-M-F provides sectorized coverage for 4G LTE and 5G private networks using the 3.5 GHz Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) and C-band spectrum (Bands n48, n78, 42, 43, and 52).
