Inert borosilicate glass construction with PVC coating for safety Millimeter reference scale to mark changes in your sample volume Lab-Crest pressure reaction vessels allow for full observation of chemical reactions in a safe vessel. These vessels are made from heavy wall, inert borosilicate glass with a PVC safety coating. Each vessel is graduated with a millimeter reference scale. These pressure reaction vessels are sometimes referred to as Fisher and Porter Bottles. They are ideal for viewing reactions of mixed compounds and viewing temperature and pressure changes to liquids or gasses. Typical applications include hydrolysis, hydrogenation, polymerization, catalysis and isomerization. Other uses include corrosion studies, solubility studies and spray and pressure characteristics of compounds. All reaction vessels are pressure tested to 2x their pressure rating. The vessels can be purchased in three standard sizes with various options. Multi-Port Stirring Assembly includes 12-oz reaction vessel, rugged SS head and stirrer assembly for gathering chemical reaction data. This assembly provides a controlled environment for constant stirring, handles highly viscous materials, enables the use of pressure control gauges and temperature probes, and allows easy injection or extraction of samples. Caution: Safety precaution should be used with glass under pressure. Maximum safe pressure depends on overall vessel condition. Additional shielding is strongly recommended. This listing is for Each.
