This rack-mountable smart managed switch features eight PoE+ compliant Gigabit Ethernet ports with a 20 Gb/s switching capacity and a 14.88 Mpps forwarding capacity powered by an 800 MHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, 512MB RAM, and 256MB of flash storage with a 1.5MB packet buffer. Each PoE+ port supports up to 30W of power delivery, with a total budget of 124W, to connect security cameras, VoIP phones, and other powered devices. There are also two SFP ports available that support fiber line uplinks and other connections that carry data across greater distances than copper lines. With its fanless design, the Instant On 1930 is built to quietly blend into almost any environment. Quality of Service (QoS)

• Traffic prioritization provides time-sensitive packets such as VoIP and video with priority over other traffic based on DSCP or IEEE 802.1p classification.
• IEEE 802.1p/Q VLAN tagging delivers data to devices based on the priority and type of traffic.
• Class of Service features include setting the IEEE 802.1p/DSCP priority to queue mapping with support for strict priority queuing or weighted round robin queuing, across four queues, configurable on individual switch ports.
• Advanced classifier based QoS classifies traffic using multiple match criteria based on Layer 2, 3, and 4 information.

Network Security

• A Trusted Platform Module (TPM) enables secure, hardware-based generation and storage of cryptographic keys used for secure connections to the Instant On cloud portal.
