Athena Power RM-2U2164R is a newly designed 19-inch standard rack mount 2U chassis. It has extended chassis chamber for being compatible with mobo form factor up to a standard E-ATX (12" x 13"). RM-2U2164 can install an Athena Power 2U single IPC power supply unit or a 2U Micro Redundant CRPS.
RM-2U2164R features 4x 5.25" external drive bay and 4x 2.5" internal drive bay. Furthermore, it features 3 full-height horizontal expansion slots, so a system builder can install up to 3 full-height expansion cards. It also features a riser card holder bracket for mounting a riser card and hold PCI cards more firmly.
2U rack mount chassis RM-2U2164R is made by 1.2mm SECC material and features a single lockable door bezel. This provides a solid and secured enclosure for protecting system components. In order to have better thermal solution, this chassis center features three 80x80mm fans for intake fresh air and push system heat out through hexagon vent-holes at chassis rear. Furthermore, it features hot-swappable fan brackets with anti-vibration rubbers for the three 80x80mm fans. This features let a technician easy replace a fan for maintenance without shut the whole system off and prevent the system main components harmed by fan spin vibration.
