Bio. Cision thermoconductive modules provide reproducible and standardized temperature control to biological samples while on the bench. Place Cool. Rack or Cool. Sink modules on ice, dry ice, liquid nitrogen, water baths, heat blocks (-200°C through 100°C+) or other and they rapidly adapt to source temperature. Cool, (snap) freeze or thaw samples consistently and reproducibly without directly inserting into temperature source, reducing variability and contamination. Cool. Rack tube holders and Cool. Sink plate holders accommodate a wide variety of tubes and plates. Precision engineered, patent-pending construction ensures well-to-well consistency (+/- 0.1C) and optimal thermal transfer. Hard anodized surface prevents corrosion and rust. Autoclavable, high-heat sterilizable, compatible with bleach, RNase Away, viricides and other common lab detergents and disinfectants. Made in USA.
Cool. Rack tube holders accommodate a variety of tubes from 200ul through 50ml. Cool. Sink plate holders accommodate 6-, 12-, 24-, 48-, and 96-well plates and 50ml reagent reservoirs. Cool. Racks are gray in color unless noted. Ideal for PCR, protein/nucleic acid handling, tissue freezing, cell culture, virus and bacteria cooling and freezing.
Thermal. Tray platforms support all Cool. Rack and Cool. Sink modules in liquid temperature sources such as melted ice, water baths and liquid nitrogen. Thermoconductive material keeps sample tubes and plates at source temperature for hours (for e x ample, 0.5°C to 4°C for up to 14 hours with one pan of ice). Also provides a solid cold surface for tissue dissection or cryo storage reorganization.
