In addition, the ready-to-use mi x contains an inert red dye and high-density additive which allows samples to be loaded directly in agarose gels without additional gel loading or tracking dyes. The red dye migrates at the rate of 600 bp and 350 bp DNA in a 1% and 2% TAE agarose gels respectively.
