The sections come with a total of nine epoxy-coated wire shelves to maximize the amount of usable space. The LED lighting is much more dependable than incandescent or fluorescent solutions while producing much less heat which saves on refrigeration costs. The doors feature anti-microbial handles that swiftly open. A self-closing feature and plug-in magnetic gaskets make sure that doors are never left ajar and cold temperatures are easily maintained while minimizing power costs. When accessing multiple items the doors can be opened to 120º and they will remain open allowing users to use both hands.
At the base of this refrigerator is a self-contained refrigeration system with a ½ HP compressor that puts out 2808 BTU/hr of cooling. This bottom-mount design makes it easier to service the refrigeration system while raising the lowest shelf which keeps users from needing to bend over too far. A temperature between 36ºF and 38ºF is constantly maintained by the full electronic controls. To make sure cooling is reliable with limited maintenance, an epoxy-coated evaporator coil is used. Defrosting is accomplished automatically with a non-electric system, this eliminates downtime while keeping the interior free of frost. The refrigerant used is R290, an environmentally-friendly hydrocarbon that meets all environmental regulations and has a minimal negative impact on the atmosphere.
The unit can be configured with 3” casters or 6” legs at no extra cost but come standard with 6” casters allowing it to be easily moved into and out of place for cleaning. An 8-foot power cable comes from the factory prewired with a NEMA 5-15P plug set for use with standard 115v/60/1-ph power.
