The CBS Scientific Economy Horizontal Systems are for the separation and identification of DNA fragments, RNA fragments, PCR products, and synthetic oligonucleotides. They are made of high quality, heavy duty construction with a 3 year warranty. Each gel tray is made from sturdy 6.4 mm thick UV transparent acrylic and winged for easy handling. Grooves in the gel tray corners create agarose anchors to prevent gel flotation during eletrophoresis. The gel tray configuration allows single run or multiple simultaneous short runs.
The platinum electrode cassettes provide rapid sample velocity and clear focused bands without smiling. These cassettes are easily removed for cleaning or replacement.

Each package includes electrophoresis unit with platinum electrodecassettes, safety cover, power leads, internal cooling chamber, buffercirculation ports, UVT gel tray with 6 slots at 2.3 cm pathlength, 2adjustable height combs, and 1 external gel caster.
