CELLTREAT Tissue Cell Culture Plates are manufactured under the most stringent conditions to assure the integrity of tissue and cell culture work. Class 100, 000 clean room, USP class VI virgin polystyrene and ISO 9001:2000 quality management systems all contribute to the consistent tissue and cell culture performance of our products.
Choose from non-treated or TC treated plates available in 1, 6, 12, 24, 48, and 96 well configurations. The tissue culture surface treatment used for CELLTREAT products produces a negatively charged, hydrophilic and consistent cell attachment surface. Growth surfaces are flat, of uniform thickness and free from striation to maximize usable growth area and transparency. Each well is labeled with large alpha-numeric markings for easy identification.
Each well has a raised rim which nestles into the rings on the single direction lid to reduce evaporation and limit the risk of cross contamination. The lid also features an exterior stacking ring for added stability when handling tall stacks of plates. Single well plates are useful for high volume and robotic screening of DNA libraries, as well as manual plating. They are also suitable for dot-blotting bacterial clones on 11.4 x 7.3cm nylon membranes and lids contain molded spacers to allow gas exchange and stacking rings for increased stability.
All plates are packaged in paper/plastic peel pouches that are designed to keep the plates in pristine condition during transit. The lot number is printed on each pouch.  96 well plates are now available with a round bottom, all other configurations are flat bottom.Key Features
