Celltreat Non-Treated Culture and Petri Dishes are manufactured under the most stringent conditions to assure the integrity of tissue and cell culture work. Class 100, 000 clean room, USP class VI virgin polystyrene, and ISO 9001:2000 quality management systems all contribute to the consistent tissue and cell culture performance of our products.
All petri dishes are manufactured from medical-grade virgin polystyrene. The ventilation ribs reduce condensation and allow air circulation. They have consistent flatness to allow for even media distribution. The flared lid skirt and squared corners allow for easy one-handed operation, especially with gloves.
Choose from a wide variety of dishes:
Stackable Petri Dishes are recommended for standard microbiology or general laboratory use. The stackable lid is designed for increased stability. They are available in 60mm x 15mm (EF16414) and 100mm x 15mm (EF16412).
Automation Petri Dishes also known as Slippable are designed for automated filling and streaking systems. They feature side arrows and ISO Mark Target for automation. They are available in 100mm x 15mm (EF16413) size.
Compartment Petri Dishes are designed for simultaneous studies of organisms in a common environment. 100mm x 15 mm Petri Dishes are available with 2, 3, or 4 compartments. They feature an optically clear top and bottom viewing surfaces for improved imaging and observation and stackable lid design to ensure stability.
Non-Treated Cell Culture Dishes are stronger, heavier construction. The surface is hydrophobic and does not facilitate cell attachment. They are available in four diameters: 35, 60, 100, and 150mm. The 35mm dish (EF8894) has an offset bottom for improved handling. The 60mm (EF8894NN) and 100mm (EF14930) feature a grip ring on the base. Lids have a stackable design for increased stability and contain molded spaces for gas exchange.
