It is used in plug and play or retrofit applications using the existing ballast (Type A) or direct wire where the existing ballast is removed (Type B). When using as a direct wire(Type B), the tube can be Single or Double Ended wired. This lamp is DLC 5.0 certified and is a glass tube with a shatterproof film.
