Bulk steam hoses are used to create custom hoses for conveying pressurized hot water in steam-cleaning, steam-pumping, heat-control, fire-prevention, thawing, blow-out service, and hoisting applications. They are designed to withstand high temperatures and pressures and are used in harsh environments like steel mills, refineries, shipyards, foundries, and chemical plants. The hoses have a pinpricked cover that allows gases or vapors trapped in the hose carcass to escape so they don't create a blister in the cover of the hose. Bulk hoses can be cut to the desired length, and compatible fittings can be added on the ends of the hoses to connect them to equipment.
