Bussmann Limitron® Fast-acting fuse is ideally designed to withstand inrush currents on typical motor start-ups while offering high current limitation in the short-circuit region. It has voltage rating of 600 VAC and current rating of 40 Amps. It measures 3.500 Inch x 0.810 Inch. It features closer protection for many motor sizes with the availability of these additional fuse ratings. Fuses have a high degree of current-limitation greatly reducing the magnetic forces and thermal stresses produce high capacity systems. It has interrupting rating of 200000 Amps at RMS symmetrical. It is suitable for circuits and loads with no heavy surge currents of motors, transformers, solenoids and welders. Fast-acting fuse is CSA certified.
