These in-line fuse holders are compatible with 13/32" x 1 -1/2" UL class CC and midget fuses rated up to 30A. They withstand humid, corrosive environments and are commonly used for overcurrent protection in street lights, parking lot lights, traffic signals, boats, and other outdoor equipment. Breakaway fuse holders comply with state and federal highway commission standards for line-side disconnects during pole knockdowns and include insulating boots that make the fuse holders IP67 rated as dust-tight and submersible in 1m depth of water. In-line fuse holders are wire-mounted holders that connect anywhere along a circuit to protect specific lines. They allow these lines to be isolated in the event of a fault so that the rest of the wiring system won't be affected. They have a receptacle that encloses a fuse and pigtail wires or terminals that extend from each end of the receptacle for connecting to a circuit. These fuse holders are commonly used on automotive wiring and other applications where space is limited or fuse box would be impractical.
