All spinner flasks feature unique extended paddle design to ensure uplift flow in all portions of flask providing homogeneous circulation of cells and medium from the bottom of the flask to the top to provide oxygenation and circulation of nutrients. These reusable spinner flasks are equipped with large 32 mm sidearm openings on 125 and 250 mL flasks that easily accept 25 mL pipettes. 500mL and larger flasks are equipped with 45 mm sidearm openings that accept 25 or 50mL pipettes. For 3 liter and larger flasks, optional 120 and 140 mm center neck openings are available as alternatives to the narrower 100 mm openings on conventional flasks. For operation in a more rigorous cGMP environment, optional Shur-Loc style caps are available for all flask sizes. This unique design makes a positive, visible seal when tightened. Flasks with 100, 120 and 140 mm center neck are also available in 6, 8, 15, and 36 L sizes. borosilicate spinner flask base unit includes two angled sidearms and closed caps, either a 70-, 100-, or 120- mm standard center neck screw cap assembly, and a polysulfone shaft with a vortex impeller paddle assembly.
