Verify credentials without a fixed wall reader, using the Cypress Wireless Handheld Reader. The HHR-3156 Reade r Unit is equipped with the HID iClass SE Dual Frequency module (13.56 MHz / 125 kHz). Typical range is 150 ft. indoors or 500 ft. outdoors (45.72m indoors / 152.4m outdoors), depending on environment.
Use the Wireless Handheld Reader system to quickly set up an entrance or checkpoint, with trucks or aboard buses, for mustering & rapid disaster deployment, as well as random challenges and staff enrollment verification.
When a credential is read by the Handheld Reader, the credential data is wireless ly sent to the Reader’s Base Unit, which is hard-wired to a Wiegand port on the control panel. The control panel verifies whether a credential is valid and sends verification to the Reader. Since the system interfaces with the customer’s existing datab ase, credential data remains up to date.
The Reader Unit also controls a relay function, such as triggering an alarm or controlling a door or gate.
Kit includes Reader, charging dock/cord, Base Unit.
