Monoclonal and polyclonal antibody purification

r. Protein A Sepharose 4 Fast Flow is built upon the well-established Sepharose Fast Flow platform and is used in many approved monoclonal antibody processes. It is composed of recombinant protein A coupled to the cross-linked 4% agarose base highly crosslinked agarose resin enables high flow rates and high productivity. Protein A resin characteristics

The recombinant protein is produced in E. coli and engineered with an oriented coupling to enhance binding capacity. Epoxy-based coupling ensures low ligand leakage. Specificity of the recombinant protein for the Fc region of IgG is similar to the native protein, giving a high degree of selectivity and yield.Streamlined scale up

Scale-up with this resin is straightforward and is further aided by a range of prepacked process development tools, making purification scale-up straightforward.Successful use in published research

protein A resins are used in a variety of applications, including:
  • Molecular characterization of an arthritogenic collagen peptide interacting with I-Ar
Compatible empty columns - research scale

solutions include a variety of empty columns for packing. r. Protein A Sepharose resin is compatible for use with Hi. Scale, Tricorn, and XK columns.Compatible empty columns - bioprocess scale

For process-scale applications, recommends Axi. Chrom columns. r. Protein A Sepharose Fast Flow can also be packed in the other column platforms such as BPG and Chromaflow.Convenient prepacked columns - research scale

r. Protein A Sepharose Fast Flow is also available in convenient prepacked formats:
  • r. Protein A Gravi. Trap, for use with gravity flow
  • Hi. Trap r. Protein A FF, for use with a syringe, pump, or chromatography system
Convenient prepacked columns - bioprocess scale

Prepacked ReadyTo. Process columns are available on request, eliminating the need for column packing and cleaning validation.
This listing is for package of 25 mL.
