See high-resolution Superdex SEC columns in action in these published papers. A Size Exclusion Column for Efficient, High Resolution Protein Separation

Size exclusion chromatography (SEC) column technologies have played a critical role in biomolecule separation for decades. As protein purification is a common method in labs worldwide, scientists increasingly need reliable and convenient options that meet modern requirements for efficient, high resolution protein separation. HiLoad Superdex pg SEC columns offer the combination of prepacked convenience and reproducibility together with fast, high-resolution gel filtration at preparative laboratory scale.Robust resins in a Ready-To-Use Gel Filtration Column

Superdex prep grade delivers: • High mechanical strength • High hydrophilicity • High chemical stability • Minimal nonspecific interactions Superdex gel filtration resins are produced by the covalent bonding of dextran to highly cross-linked agarose.
The steep selectivity of the dextran component and the high chemical and physical stability of the agarose give high-resolution separations at flow velocities up to 50 cm/h. Scientists also gain excellent resolving power for peptides and proteins in the molecular weight ranges, Mr < 10 000 (Superdex 30 pg), Mr 3 000 to 70 000 (Superdex 75 pg), and Mr 10 000 to 600 000 (Superdex 200 pg). HiLoad columns are easy-to-use laboratory columns (XK chromatography columns). Each has a precision bore borosilicate glass tube and a fitted thermostatic jacket. Dead volumes make up less than 0.1% of the total column volume, keeping sample dilution and band broadening to a minimum. Valco fittings (1/16”) are standard and provide easy and direct connection to ÄKTA protein purification systems. Download the Superdex prep grade datafile to learn more.
