As the fitting is tightened, the resistance of the cap increases until the correct torque is reached. A seal is created by compressing the flared portion of the tube against the flat bottom of the port. Select from acetal, polycarbonate (PC), or PEEK material of construction. PEEK fittings are compact in design and provide excellent chemical resistance. Choose the size that best matches your tube OD. A washer is recommended to ensure the flare seals correctly. Use flanging kit to easily flange semi-rigid tubing. An O-ring may be necessary to ensure the fitting seats correctly in deeper ports. This listing is for Pkg of 6.
