The WS4949 2-button wireless key adds wireless convenience and value to any DSC security system by providing users with a competitively priced wireless solution that includes a number of features and benefits. The WS4949 provides users with a sense of control over their security system and the added confidence that comes with portable personal protection within the home. Compact and user-friendly, the WS4949 features two scratchresistant buttons that when activated perform either arming or disarming functions. When the two buttons are pressed simultaneously the panic function is activated.

False Alarm Reduction
False alarm reduction has resulted in the introduction of activation delays that require users to press and hold a button for a period of time before its function is initiated. To activate the arming/disarming functions of the WS4949, press and hold the appropriate button until the onesecond activation delay expires. The WS4949 incorporates a full, three-second activation delay on its panic function to help reduce false alarms. To activate it, both buttons need to be pressed simultaneously.
Visual Confirmation
A red LED indicator, located between the two buttons on the WS4949, flashes to indicate that a transmission has been sent to the security system.
