Polycarbonate media bottles with PP closure are unequaled in design or performance. The octagonal square shape provides and "Easy-Grip" for pouring. Transparent and autoclavable. Perhaps the best design of any plastic lab bottle.
Use with aqueous solutions, storage of media- short term or for space saving (square) storage. The cap is made with virgin, high-temperature polypropylene (PP) and is liner-free and comes with a leak-proof guaranty. The neck ring insures security of shrink-wrapped seals and has a smooth interior so there is no fluid entrapment and no back- flow contamination. The seal ring is molded inside the cap and fits rightly against the bottle neck. This insures a leak-proof system.
Threads on both bottle and cap are continuous and straight-shouldered, semi-buttress threads that, along with the seal ring, insure a leak-proof system which protects the integrity of the contained liquids. Beveled Edges along the bottle side insure an "Easy-Grip" for pouring. They are also designed so that the entire bottle fits into most shaking incubators for direct culture applications. Graduation markings are optically clear molded-in for end user convenience. Uniform thick walls with beveled edges are a uniquely designed construction offering durability, strength, clarity and improved heat penetration characteristics. Stable Base insures that the bottle will not tip over during fill. The base includes a molded-in resin code, a recycling code, and the fill capacity.
