Eaton / Cutler Hammer CurrentWatch™ ECS Series Rectangular current sensor switch is perfect for providing status information on electrical equipment. It is great for new installations, where the conductors run through the housing, requiring no cutting. It is suitable to use in conveyors, lighting circuits, fans, pumps & heating elements, critical motors and ancillary equipment. This current sensor can sense continuous currents from 1 - 150 Amps and does not require any supply voltage, as the required power drawn from the monitored conductor.
Self-powered current switch minimizes installation and operating costs. Easily adjustable set point speeds start-up and increases application flexibility. This normally open current switch with 19 mm aperture, has current rating of 0.15 Amps at 240 VAC/VDC, response time of 120 milli-second and frequency rating of 6 - 100 Hz. It has fixed set point of 1 Amp and features solid-core housing. Built-in mounting feet facilitate secure installation. Current switch is UL/cUL listed and CE certified.
