They are suitable for use in wet locations when used with gasketed covers. FS and FD device boxes are available in two box depths with a wide variety of gang configurations, hub configurations and hub sizes. They are manufactured in cast iron, aluminum, stainless steel and malleable iron. Malleable iron boxes are also available with a hot dip galvanized finish for added corrosion protection against road salt and other harsh environmental factors.
