The 1505 series electromagnetic door holder is a high quality device for use with single doors and the electromagnet assembly is designed for flush wall mounting

Edwards Electromagnetic door holder is flush/wall mounted and features die cast metal construction. Door holder features powder epoxy aluminum colored finish and durable baked polyester powder paint. Door holder features a shock absorbing nylon ball that allows the plate to adjust to any door angle. Door holder is an AC/DC model that consumes less power. It has 111 N nominal holding force and features an adjustable swivel contact plate. It features an electromagnet for which field wiring connections are made inside the electrical box.
Door holder can also be operated by manual control wherever the instant closing of doors is needed for safety or for convenience. Door holder has current rating of 0.015 Amps and voltage rating of 24 VDC/VAC or 120 VAC at frequency range of 60 Hz. It is designed to be used on self-closing, swinging doors to automatically isolate an area when activated by fire alarm, smoke detection or sprinkler systems. Door holder finds application in stairwell doors, room doors, long corridors, schools-exit door, offices, nursing homes and public buildings. Door holder is C/US, UL/CSFM listed and FM approved.
