The Eppendorf Mastercycler Nexus Thermal Cyclers modular system provides the ultimate flexibility for PCR. Run a single unit or combine several units for additional output. Program the unit(s) via intuitive graphics and preloaded protocol templates. The system can even be integrated directly with your computer network to send a status email when a cycle completes.
The system includes a “flexlid” that accommodates all types of PCR consumables, including tubes up to 0.5 mL and virtually all PCR plates. Block heating is provided via Peltier elements; a self-test function ensures homogeneity. Units are extremely energy efficient and include a stand-by function to further save energy. A USB port provides for data transfer or mouse connection.
Mastercycler Nexus Gradient models offer true gradient technology with up to 12 separate temperature settings. SteadySlope technology ensures that heating and cooling ramp rates are identical for both normal and gradient operation, ensuring that results between both optimization and routine experiments are identical. Gradient range is 1 to 20ºC; temperature range is 30 to 99 ºC.
Mastercycler Nexus Eco models need to be connected to a Mastercycler Nexus with control and display panel to operate. Up to two Eco units can be slaved to one master Nexus module.Key Features
