The Hettich EBA 280 & 280S Tabletop Centrifuges offer versatility, convenience and safety within a compact, all metal containment and ideal for STAT, PPP, coagulation, and clinical chemistry applications. The EBA 280S is able to provide flat separation PPP in minutes. Both units have a running time of 1s – 99min: 59s, continuous run, short cycle mode (impulse key). The memory control systems features up to 10 pre-programmable settings for easy recall of applications parameters, ensuring repeatability.
Though smaller than a standard toaster oven, the EBA 280 & 280S maximizes its dimensions to fit 90° swing-out rotors (max. capacity 6 x 50mL) for flat separation of all standard blood, urine, and pediatric tubes. The rotor is self-standing allowing you to load samples at the benchtop level. Quickly and easily place the auto-locking rotor onto motor shaft for safe centrifugation. Upon completion, simply lift the rotor out of the centrifuge for convenient uploading of samples without any tools or physical stress.
Advanced safety features of the EBA 280 & 280S include the Hettich Safety-Lock™Lid which is self-closing, auto-locking and come with steel lid locks. This ensures a safe, tight closure of the chamber during operation. The centrifuge will not operate if the lid is not secure. The lid is also a Hettich Easy-Lift™ lid. It's ergonomically designed to limit repetitive stress injuries, spillage and accidental sample disruption when loading and unloading your centrifuge.
