The Rotina 420 and 420R Compact Large Capacity Centrifuges provide high-performance centrifugation of large volumes, but take up less than 2 sq. ft. on the benchtop. The advanced control panel is ergonomic: use symbol keys for parameter selection and set values with the control knob. Nine braking and acceleration ramps, unbraked run-down, or a cut-off speed can be selected. Each centrifuge holds up to 98 complete running programs that remain in memory even after centrifuge has been turned off.

The brushless, maintenance-free induction drive motor is smooth and quiet with extraordinary speed stability. The lid features a view port and locks automatically with just one hand. The metal housing and stainless steel chamber are durable and will provide years of service. Rotors are automatically recognized.
Refrigerated Centrifuges EF4113A and EF4113A-1 also include infinitely-variable cooling from - 20 °C to + 40 °C (or - 4 °F to + 104 °F). Temperature can be set in either °C or °F. Centrifuges include both chamber overheating protection and an additional program position for precooling.
