Hoffman PolyProu2122 Junction box enclosure is made of non-glass-filled polyester with light-gray textured finish for giving superior UV resistance and removes fiber bloom associated with fiberglass. It measures 14.010 Inch x 8.350 Inch x 16.020 Inch. It includes scratch-resistant polycarbonate windows with internal rail system and an adjustable panel block for panel height adjustment or installation of multiple panels. It features an overlapping tongue and groove raised cover as well as gasket. It is used in applications where harsh chemicals, weather extremes and corrosive environments demand toughness from a lightweight enclosure. Solid cover junction box enclosure offers an excellent ultraviolet protection and a tight environmental seal for added safety.
Junction box supports easy, dustless in-field modifications using standard tools. It is recyclable and is lighter than fiberglass. It features molded-in embosses for rear panel mounting. It includes removable snap-hinge cover for easy access to cover and body for modifications. It has a molded layout grid on inside of body and solid covers that assist with component mounting. Enclosure comes with optional cover screws. It offers an excellent chemical resistance to a broad range of solvents, alkalis or acids and resists cracking for enhanced impact resistance. It has UL 508A enclosure and window flammability for sustaining harsh environmental conditions. Junction box is CL, CUL listed and meets CSA standards.
