Rod closing cable support mesh grips are used in temporary installations when there is no access to the end of a cable. These grips are quicker to install than lace closing grips. The mesh is wrapped around the cable, secured with a rod, and pulled taut with the eye or ring. Once in place, these grips support runs of cable.

Conduit riser support grips feature a ring attachment for holding cable in standard electrical rigid metal conduit and schedule 40 rigid PVC conduit. Not suitable for use with EMT.
