Inline portable GFCI cords with automatic reset are electrical devices used between a power source and an electrical device to detect ground faults and help prevent electrical shock. The GFCI automatically resets after a power interruption to immediately restart the connected device as soon as the power supply is restored. These portable cords are suitable for use with unattended devices, such as radios or lights, in settings without a standard GFCI receptacle.
