Intermatic Grasslin DTAV40 Series auto voltage defrost control is ideally used for electric or hot gas defrost systems where defrost is terminated by the timer. It is provided with an auto-voltage control that automatically adjusts for 120 - 240 VAC. Timer can be programmed in 15 minutes with the help of captive trippers. It has a current rating of 40 Amps and horse power of 2 hp. It is featured with durable conformal coated board that is moisture resistant and measures 6.631 Inch x 2.935 Inch x 8.795 Inch. It is provided with LED indicators to indicate defrost and refrigeration cycles.
Defrost control has a real-time clock face that enables quick, easy and accurate setting. It has a minimum time setting of 15 minutes and maximum time setting of 23 hours, 45 minutes. It operates in the temperature range of -40 to 40 deg C at an operating humidity of 0 - 95%. It is provided with an UL Type 3R enclosure for added safety. Timer is CSA listed.
Defrost control is field adjustable for 120V or 240V operation and shall have defrost initiation times settable to the quarter hour via captive trippers at 15 minute intervals. The defrost timer is housed in a NEMA 3R indoor/outdoor plastic enclosure. The relay output is 40A Resistive, 2HP @ 250VAC. Defrost terminations are completed by time and a remote temperature or pressure switch.
