They have a convoluted PVC cover that provides excellent flexibility and allows the hose to bend and then return to its original shape. These lightweight hoses are designed for transferring dry foods and food-grade liquids such as drinking water, beer, wine, and juice. They are lightweight and abrasion-resistant, and they have transparent walls that allow users to see materials flowing through the hose. These hoses do not contain phthalates. They are used in food-manufacturing, pharmaceutical-manufacturing, plastic-processing, poultry-processing, and pneumatic-conveying applications. Bulk food and beverage hoses are used to create custom hose assemblies for moving edible dry food and drinkable (potable) liquids. They are primarily used in industrial food- and beverage-processing applications. Bulk food hoses and bulk beverage hoses are made from materials that meet or exceed FDA and USDA sanitary standards for food contact.
