The chamber features a 1/4" thick laminated safety glass viewing window with powder-coated steel frame and neoprene gasket. The cutout is 26 2/5"W x 12 1/2"H, and is easily removable for loading equipment. Space-saving inner and outer transfer chamber (11" nominal ID x 12"L) doors pivot upward, and are counterbalanced and equipped with quick-latches. Units also feature an interior ceiling mounted electrical duplex receptacle with a 5 amp maximum load, and a flourescent lamp that is easily replaceable from the top of the unit. The black, chemical resistant work surface is sealed to the glove box floor, allowing for easy clean-up of spills Units also feature both inlet and outlet HEPA filters and provide a physical barrier to protect the operator from hazardous airborne particles and powders, making these units ideal for use with pharmaceutical research, nanotechnology, biochemistry, Microorganisms, low-level radio-chemicals, chemical carcinogens and asbestos. Each unit features a built-in blower with airflow from 13 to 100 cubic feet per minute (CFM). The HEPA filters are 99.99% efficient on 0.3micron particulates. The main chamber static pressure gauge monitors HEPA filter loading. Airborne particulate cleanliness has been measured and exceeds ISO Class 5 conditions, and acheived ISO ISO Class 3 conditions at all airflow volumes. The anti-static ionizer fan circulates ionized air inside the box to reduce static charge. To minimize balance vibration, a 13 2/5"W x 20 2/5"D x 2.7"H marble slab with 304 stainless stell cover is included within the weigh box.
