Use these fully standardized sanitary mixers almost anywhere. Mixers include a 304 stainless steel (SS) housing, 304 SS clamp mount, and 316L (low carbon) SS shafts and impellers. A 20-degree offset is built right into the clamp for proper positioning in nonbaffled tanks to prevent swirling. Use the Sanitary Mixer Sizing Guide to select the appropriate mixer for your application. The shaft length and impeller(s) have been pre-sized according to the Sizing Guide parameters to give you trouble-free processing for years to come. For shallow or shorter tanks, mixer shafts can be cut to suit tank depth. All mixer shafts come with a machined reverse taper flat on the mixer shaft, a safety feature, allowing positive set-screw attachment into the stainless steel drive quill. The global, 304 SS motor comes standard with an IP55 washdown rating and is CE compliant. It is easy to turn your Nettco Sanitary mixer into a variable-speed mixer by adding a variable-frequency inverter (see below). The motor has an inverter duty (VFD) rating, allowing it to be wired into a VFD speed control. Variable-speed option allows for low-level mixingeliminates splashing and fluid aeration; important for most applications while the tank fills up/drains down. Mix up to 3000-gallon batch sizes or fluids up to 2500 cps with the high-flow, planetary gear-drive models utilizing the laser-designed A-310 Hydrofoil impeller(s). Gear-drive models come standard with food-grade lubricant in the sealed gear box and oversized sealed bearings for longer shaft lengths.
