Item Details Lincoln Electric Innershield NR-232 Self Shielded Flux Core Carbon Steel Tubular Welding Wire with 0.068' Dia is made for high deposition, out-of-position welding for structural fabrication in seismic zones. It is ideal for single/ multiple pass welding of 3/16 in and heavier carbon steel. It features penetrating arc and has high deposition rates for out-of-position welding. It features fast freezing, easy slag removal system. Wire comes on a 25 lb steel spool. It meets AWS D1.8 seismic lot waiver standards. It finds applications in general plate fabrication, hull plate and stiffener welding on ships as well as barges, machinery parts, tanks, hoppers, racks and scaffolding. Wire with impact properties is capable of exceeding 27 J at -29deg C.
