Lowell 150LVCS-RMDB
Lowell’s 150LVCS Series stereo volume controls with 150 watt per channel power rating are engineered for three types of 70/100V control applications: distributed mono systems, distributed mono systems with subwoofer, or a distributed stereo system . Devices are offered in 2-gang and rackmount configurations to meet installation requirements . All include phoenix-style plug-in screw termination strips for pre-wire convenience with wire capacity up to 14 gauge . Attenuation is 3dB per step with two positions of 6dB prior to OFF as noted in schematic .
Model 150LVCS and Model 150LVCS-DSB are 2-gang assemblies that mount within a 2-gang E . O . Box with a minimum depth requirement of 2 . 5' including mud ring (if used) . Model 150LVCS features a one-piece, stainless steel wall plate for applications where a non-corrosive control is specified . Model 150LVCS-DSB features an attractive decora-style black subplate with a stainless steel cover plate .
Model 150LVCS-RMDB is a rackmount assembly with a decora-style subplate . It is designed for installation into Lowell’s rackmount device panels with decora-style cutouts; order Model LD8-RMP or LD9-RMP separately . Note: Due to the control’s 3 . 437” width; two controls may NOT be installed side by side in either panel . Controls may however be installed in every other position with a blank plate between . Order panel Model LD8-RMP to fit up to four alternately spaced controls or order Model LDP-RMP to fit up to five alternately spaced controls . A set of 4 blank plates may also be ordered (Model DBB-4) .
Model 150LVCS-RM is a traditional rackmount assembly that includes the control unit with exposed shaft, knob and adhesive dial scale . It is designed for custom panel applications or for installation in Lowell’s LVC-RMP rackmount panel (order separately) . Note: Due to the control’s 3 . 437” width two units may NOT be installed side by side in the LVC-RMP panel . They may be installed in every other position (4 total) with blank plugs (included) between .
Accessory Rackmount Panels (order separately)
RMP Series pre-punched rackmount device panels provide professional appearance of rackmount control models 150LVCSRMDB and 150LVCS-RM . EIA 19” panels include a rear lacing flange for wire management and a clear Pocket ID(TM) window for inserting 1/2' labels for control identification . Mounting requirements for each panel are noted in control descriptions above .
