Lowell's RPAK System is packaged in a single box for easy ordering, inventory and installation convenience . It includes two 15W drivers (Model 810) with dual voltage transformers mounted to a white perforated grille (Model WB8) and boxed with two conically shaped backboxes (Model 8XD4) and two tile bridges (Model LBD8-R1) with Twist'n Lock easy installation feature . Single box systems are great for distributors, stocking warehouses and any application where the ordering, shipping, stocking or job site convenience of a having a speaker system pair with all mounting accessories in a easy carry carton is advantageous .
Speaker System Model RPAK810-72 is an excellent choice for quality general purpose paging and distributed music applications where economy and installed costs are prime considerations . The 15W system includes industry standard 8” dual cone driver Model 810 with 10oz . magnet, 47Hz - 20kHz +6dB frequency response and 95dB Avg sensitivity measured 1W/1M . The driver utilizes a molded high fiber content cone to achieve smooth, extended response with a clean, natural sound . To facilitate a variety of distributed applications each driver includes Lowell’s versatile dual voltage 70/25V transformer Model TLM572 with primary taps at 0 . 25, 0 . 5, 1, 2, and 5W .
System grille Model WB8 is factory mounted to the 810 driver using welded studs and installs to the system backbox and tile bridge, included, using four white screws (provided) . The grille is precision-formed steel with an attractive white finish that blends nicely with suspended tile ceilings of all types .
System Backbox Model 8XD4 is formed from heavy gauge galvanized steel with an acoustic pad and four 1/2 - 3/4” knockouts for conduit . The lip is punched for screw-mount installation or Twist’n Lock mounting of the backbox to system tile bridge Model LBS8-R . Two backboxes are included in each system .
System Tile Bridge Model LBS8-R1 transfers the speaker assembly weight to the ceiling support structure in suspended tile ceilings . Each RPAK system includes two galvanized steel tile bridges with Twist’n Lock mounting tabs and four wire-tie holes for seismic anchoring if required .
