Item Details Markal THERMOMELT 200 deg Fahrenheit Certified Temperature Indicating Stick is ideal for use in nuclear power generation such as shipping and repair, other power generation facilities, military, oil and gas. It is also ideal for applications such as annealing, forging, welding, bending, forming and any place where temperature measuring is essential. It has protective holder, shirt-clip and adjustment ring that avoids breakage and enhances handling. The mark suddenly melts to a glossy transparent-appearing liquid when the rated temperature is reached. The initial mark seems dull and chalky while using. It provides accurate results within 1% of rated temperature and is 33% bigger and stronger than other brands. Temperature indicating stick features accurate, fast, low-cost method for measuring surface temperatures. Temperature indicating stick is individually batch tested and pre-certified to meet U.S. and international specifications for nuclear and military applications.
