It is used to determine the flange bolt length and diameter as well as to find number of bolt holes in a flange. It measure center to end dimensions of pipe elbows and tees and to find through hub length of a flange. It also determines the outside diameter of a weld neck flange and arc length for a given radius. It measure angles relative to horizontal or vertical plane with level and is used to find decimal equivalent. It also finds layout a variety of weld joint configurations and solves triangles or offsets.
