Merck - 480450-1MG - NFF-2 | Calbiochem | 1MG

  • Item #: 6280466
  • MFR SKU: 480450-1MG
  • Overview A quenched fluorescence substrate for MMPs. MMP-3 (stromelysin-1) hydrolyzes this substrate (k cat /K m = 5.9 x 10 4 M -1 sec -1 ) at a rate 60 times faster than the hydrolysis by MMP-1 (interstitial collagenase). NFF-2 shows little discrimination between MMP-3, MMP-2 (gelatinase-A; k cat /K m = 5 x 10 4 M -1 s -1 ), and MMP-9 (gelatinase-B; k cat /K m = 5.5 x 10 4 M -1 s -1 ).
