Ferraz Shawmut Amp-Trap® EJO-1 Point detonating fuse is made of metal that provides long lasting durability. It is designed for protection for 2.4kV to 34.5kV transformers or distribution systems. Fuse is a type of low resistance resistor that acts as a sacrificial device to provide overcurrent protection. Fuse is surrounded by air or by materials intended to speed the quenching of the arc and silica sand or non-conducting liquids are used. Fuse is designed to interrupt hig/low fault currents. Fuse operates at a voltage rating of 15.5 kilo-Volts and current rating of 200 Amps.
Mersen fuses for the protection of transformers and distribution lines deliver overload and short circuit protection. These current-limiting fuses will melt at current that can be as low as 1.7 times the fuse current ratings up to its maximum interrupting rating. These fuses are designed to withstand the transformer magnetizing inrush current. They have 2" (size C), 3" (size D) and 2x3" (size DD) inch diameter barrels with ferrules and are mounted in spring reinforced clips. 15500 Volts 200 Amps FDD series.
