The most heavy duty of coated abrasive discs, full resin bond on vulcanized (cotton fibers treated under intense pressure and heat) fiber backing. Designed for applications ranging from heavy stock removal to surface blending. Used with back up pads on portable angle grinders. Cut, polish and deburr with ease when you attach the Blaze® F980 coarse grit TR (Type III) quick-change fiber disc to your grinder. Ideal for tough materials such as 300 and 400 Series stainless, titanium and super alloys, this disc is designed for cost-efficient performance. Durable fiber backing resists tears better than conventional cloth backed discs so you can apply the pressure you need and the coarse grit grain gets the job done faster. This quick-change fiber disc features 100% ceramic grain to always expose the sharpest edges. It cuts cooler and faster than the competition thanks to an advanced self-lubricating treatment.
