These Novaflex natural rubber bulk food hoses have a corrugated SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber) cover and are primarily used for transferring dry edible food items such as sugar, flour, and beans. The hoses have a smooth surface that resists the growth of microbes, and they are built on stainless-steel mandrels to maintain high standards for cleanliness during manufacturing. The SBR cover resists weather and abrasion, and it is corrugated to maximize the hose's flexibility. These hoses have wire helix reinforcement that allows them to be used for suction and discharge applications. Bulk food and beverage hoses are used to create custom hose assemblies for moving edible dry food and drinkable (potable) liquids. They are primarily used in industrial food- and beverage-processing applications. Bulk food hoses and bulk beverage hoses are made from materials that meet or exceed FDA and USDA sanitary standards for food contact. They can be cut to the desired length and compatible hose fittings can be added to the ends of the hoses for connecting them to equipment.
