NSI Easy-Splice™ H-Tap gel splice cover is designed to insulate and seal low-voltage cable taps, splices made with H-frame compression connectors. It makes use of sealing gel to seal and protect the connection from moisture ingress, corrosion and pollution. Cover is suitable for 6 - 2 AWG main and 14 - 8 AWG tap conductors. It closure is very useful for street lighting applications and offers UV resistance. Cover has a voltage rating of 1 kilo-Volt. It has a temperature rating of -40 to 90 deg C. It is ideal both underground, overhead applications and is particularly useful in street Lighting applications. Cover meets ANSI standards.
Easy-Splice H Tap Gel Splice Cover for 6 - 2 AWG The Easy-Splice low-voltage H-Frame closure insulates and seals low-voltage cable-taps and splices made with H-frame compression connectors. The closure utilizes sealing gel material to seal and protect the connection from moisture ingress, corrosion and pollution. To install, simply place the connection on the closure and press the closure together. The low-voltage H-frame closure is ideal for both underground and overhead applications and is especially useful for street lighting applications. Qualified to ANSI C119.1-1986 for underground splicing. Rated -40 degrees C to 90 degrees C, 1, 000 volts, UV resistant. The Easy-Splice H tap gel splice covers do NOT include connector.
