To activate the microorganism, simply apply pressure to the plastic stem valve and release the hydration fluid to dissolve the microorganism pellet. The culture pellet lyophilized in Microgel-Flash matrix dissolves in less than a minute with minimum agitation and no incubation. Transparent tube makes it easy to see if the pellet has completely dissolved. Once dissolved, remove the swab from the tube and swipe across the media plate. Each stick comes individually sealed and with a reusable label; use the label to mark your media plate to prevent sample mix up. Store refrigerated.
