Sometimes called scaffold casters, these casters are used on light-duty scaffolding, work platforms, workbenches, and tables that will be moved frequently but must be kept stable and immobilized when people are using them. They can help prevent injuries that may be caused if the casters roll or turn unexpectedly. These casters have zinc-plated steel frames and double ball swivel bearings that allow the caster to swivel smoothly. They are suitable for janitorial, maintenance, painting, electrical, and construction applications. These bolt-in stem casters have a round or square stem that fits into structural framing made of metal tubing or angle iron. They can be attached to scaffolding, racks, and carts built from structural framing to allow the equipment to roll as its being moved or repositioned, which reduces the effort required to move the equipment.
